Sabbir might roar again

Well! We all were a little bit tensed about the new batting sensation in Test. (Read what happened to Sabbir?)

Undoubtedly the first Test match of the Rocket Bangladesh-England Test series can be considered as one of the best Test matches of Bangladesh’s cricket history. Although after the end of the match they were 22 runs short, they have fought till the last day against this mighty team which is really a matter of appreciation. And debutant Sabbir Rahman is the man who has taken all lights of this match on him.

It was such a debut for him which every cricketers cherish to have. This youngster has fought bravely till the end to take his team to the victory but all his efforts went in vain. He remains unbeaten at 64 runs. And after this excellent innings the expectation of the fans on Sabbir is really high. But a news about Sabbir’s injury was about to put water on everything.

Sabbir was suffering from some stomach problem. From many trustful sources the news have come that he is going to miss the second match. And due to the presence of Mosaddek Hossain in the squad the news was supposed to be right! But finally all the confusions have come to an end. Bayozidul Islam the doctor of Bangladesh National Cricket Team has given the good news. According to him Sabbir is fit for the second Test.

He said – ”Sabbir was suffering from some stomachache. There was a bit pain in his stomach. He was under the observation in Chittagong. We have shown him to a doctor there too. He is still under doctor’s observation. In sha Allah he will be okey before the match.”

The second match of this series will be on the field from 28th October at Mirpur Sher-e-Bangla National Stadium, Dhaka. Sabbir Rahman will join to his regular practice from Friday.
